Masseria Moroseta, a simple elegant farmhouse on the Puglian coast
Located on the Puglian coast near Ostuni (South-East of Italy), Hotel Masseria Moroseta is described by its owner as “a charming white stone farmhouse with six rooms in a 5 hectare organic olive grove”. This private getaway combines minimalism with simple elegance. Follow me.
It seems Masseria Moroseta is everywhere on the web at the moment. I have discovered it first via Atelier rue verte’s blog, Yatzer magazine and then photographer Renée Kemps (I am an absolute fan of her work). There is nothing strange with the white stone farmhouse getting so much coverage: the place looks simply stunning. I had to share more about this place with you today.
Overlooking the Adriatic sea, Masseria Moroseta combines everything we love: comfortable/warm minimalism and simple elegance in a quiet and peaceful environment with never-ending views of the countryside and ocean. Without forgetting the light which at sunrise and sunset time is quite unique. It is one of these places you stay at for a romantic weekend. Or when you need to physically and mentally relax. Or even when you need a quiet place to write your next novel. That’s just the perfect place for this! You just need to be a writer...
The Italian farmhouse with whitewash walls definitely invites us to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of our daily routines. Cherry on the cake, the villa was “conceived and built using traditional materials and techniques” . Yatzer explains that not only “the building organically fits into the surrounding landscape”, it “provides guests with an authentic experience as well as takes advantage of centuries-old practices to ensure for an environmentally friendly design with a minimal energy footprint”. That adds charm to the place, right?
