A touch of French romance with Ask A French Flowers
Aude is a young florist with a huge talent as shown by the pictures featuring our first styling work together. She has an incredible flair for making colourful, bold and boho-chic flower arrangements that add a touch of romance to your interior.
Aude and I met a few months ago, back in October 2016. It was then a couple of weeks before the November edition of Boutique Fairs at the Pit Building, Singapore’s best curated shopping event.
Quickly we wished we could find a way to work together. Aude was doing pretty flower arrangements, I was selling vases via stylodeco and as we both share a passion for what we do… Our first collaboration was during Boutique Fairs last November. Aude arranged a fabulous bouquet of dried flowers for Stylodeco’s booth. A lot of you may remember as we distributed tons of Aude’s name cards during the fair!
Today, I am still enjoying her bouquet: it’s been on a console at the showroom for the past 3 months and a half and it is still looking absolutely great. That is the good thing about dried flowers, they last for months!
Since the fair, we have been thinking of doing something else together and finally figured it out! This month’s theme on the blog being “green”, we thought it was the perfect opportunity to display a few creations from Aude in new vases from Stylodeco.
But before you look at the pictures below, let me tell you a bit more about Aude.
Aude is a young florist with a huge talent. Talking about her creations, she says they are "inspired by the beauty of wild nature and classic still life paintings". Aude has this French je-ne-sais-quoi in the way she arranges flowers, it’s hard to say. She is very passionate in what she does, she is certainly creative but also determined: she is her true herself when arranging flowers. She does not try to imitate someone else’s style, she just works with her heart and the results speak for themselves. Her bouquets are sweet, ingenuous, colourful, bold, romantic. Perfectly imperfect.
Have a look below at the fresh and dried flower arrangements she did. Aren't they seriously stunning?
PSssst. Ask A French Flower and Stylodeco will both attend Boutique Fairs at the Pit Building these coming 10th and 11th March 2017. Aude and I came up with an exclusive offer including a bouquet of flowers and a glass dome specially for the event, we can’t wait to show you! #staytuned
