Pale Dogwood, described as “a quiet and peaceful pink shade that engenders an aura of innocence and purity”, is one of Pantone’s top 10 colours for Spring 2017. Join me as I dive into a beautiful array of blush pink interiors and discover its peaceful pairings of green, flame and hazelnut.
Last year’s Rose Quartz Pantone colour is replaced by Pale Dogwood this Spring 2017. “Continuing the tranquil mood, Pale Dogwood is a quiet and peaceful pink shade that engenders an aura of innocence and purity. The unobtrusive Pale Dogwood is a subtle pink whose soft touch infuses a healthy glow,” says the Pantone colour institute in its Spring 2017 fashion colour report.
Pale Dogwood is certainly a great colour to create a relaxed, welcoming and safe haven.
What’s more, the pale pink can easily be combined with other pastel shades such as Hazelnut – another one of Pantone top 10 colours for Spring 2017 – or darker colours such as dark green and flame. You can check out my blog post on Pantone Primrose Yellow and red-based orange Flame here.
